Questions and answers
Is SorcEye free, and do I need an account?
Using the app is free. You need an account so that your characters, campaigns and homebrew are stored safely and open on any of your devices.
Is it a phone app or a website?
SorcEye is built phone-first: it is a web app you add to your home screen and it opens like a regular app. It also opens in a desktop browser, but the desktop layout is still basic.
What happens when I lose connection at the table?
Once installed, the app keeps opening without a connection, so you can keep playing. Your changes are kept on the device and synced to your account when the connection returns.
Can I use my own homebrew?
Yes. Next to the open rules content you can create your own items, cards, creatures and encounters, and use them in your characters and campaigns.
Does SorcEye have its own AI assistant?
No, and it does not need one. It has an MCP server instead: connect the AI client you already use and it can create and edit your homebrew and encounters and read your characters, so adding content is as easy as describing it in a chat. You connect it from the app settings and confirm the access yourself.
What happens to my data?
Your characters and content are stored in your account. You can delete the account and its data yourself in the app. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
